Hello, I’m Amanda

A designer who understands everyday homes.

Before becoming an interior designer, I spent eleven years as a primary teacher—and every August, I found myself redesigning my classroom to make it warmer, calmer and more welcoming.

Today, I help homeowners make the same kind of thoughtful changes at home. My approach is friendly, practical and focused on creating rooms that feel personal to the people who live in them.

“The work was always there, but nobody—including me—ever told me that it counted. It counted.”

The thinking behind the room

Soft greens, warm woods and layered natural textures give the room a calmer feeling without making it precious. Each piece was selected to be comfortable, practical and easy for the client to bring together at her own pace.
